Hello and welcome to BLOG! This is just a simple, small site designed specifically for anyone interested in my work and how it progresses. I will keep updating images of my painting and post any details that are relevant.
Work In Progress
Started to use a palette knife much more with this piece 'Portugal Shore' building texture and covering much of the canvas in a thick layer of paint. Now needs more detail in the distant tree line and the white villas scattered on the horizon. The light blue of the shoreline also needs lightening to reflect the sky's colour.
About the Artist
Hi! My name's Trevor and I'm a 32 year old artist and painter living in Cornwall, England. Having lived in Cornwall, and studied at Falmouth College of Arts, Iam an emerging contemporary artist and illustrator, whose art work incorporates alkyd and acrylic painting, usually painting on stretched canvas.
My greatest passion is for coastal, landscape and portrait paintings. My sea and lanscapes are worked sometimes loose to gain more of an atmosphere and a feeling of the day rather than just trying to capture a scene.
